I do not use PDR9 anymore, have moved on to much more stable 64 bit editing software, I do have PDR8 now on the laptop, which I use for comparison purposes only. I don't know if it will help dxva under divx for mkv file, but I'd be interested in hearing if it does.

Ty for your help I will try to update my drivers and try it out. I've used it for several years, and it has only given me 1 trouble which is easily resolved. OK I've solved it!
Does your workaround solve the problem of green screen when dxva dkvx enabled using divx decoder for mkv files. In reply to Daveybdab's post on August 15, Thanks Dave and Be Ta for the help and swift reply, I've done as you suggested Dave and it worked a treat.
My media centre has an onboard graphics card which i tested earlier today.
